Our Team

  • Celia Cattani

Celia has over 30 years of experience in financial services technology and software sales, but her passion is giving back to the communities she lives in. Her inspiration for giving back, is her Mom, who was a WW2 army nurse and volunteered well into her 90s.

In her 20s, while living in NYC, Celia and a group of her sorority alum started working with the children and families of a community garden in East Harlem– the mutual positive impact of that experience was amazing. While living in San Francisco, Celia founded Community Karma and supported many local Bay Area programs. Celia returned to NJ in 2015 and has called Asbury Park home ever since. Upon arriving, she immediately connected with the Asbury Park Toy Drive and Connie Breech; Celia was inspired by the generosity of the Asbury Park community.

Motivated by the legacy of the Asbury Park Toy Drive, Celia, and Community Karma, hope to continue the spirit of giving and generosity in Asbury.

  • Kimmee Masi

At the age of 4, Kimmee received her first drum set on Christmas morning from her father Vinnie– it was then that Kimmee found her passion for music and later found another passion, baking, by following in her father’s footsteps. Vinnie opened Vincent’s Cookie Cupboard in Freehold, NJ, and Kimmee spent her Summers and snow days there from 9 years old. “I didn’t mind at all…I was an extremely chubby kid and loved sweets! Not much has changed!” Kimmee learned baking and pastry from her father who taught the art to Middlesex County culinary students before he opened his own bakery. Masi says, “He was amazing and brilliant at his craft. I remember how proud I was to go with him on deliveries and see the clients’ reactions to what he created. My father was a rockstar with an amazing personality!” Kimmee spent many hours learning the craft working in local bakeries, while also playing in many NY/NJ rock bands.

In August 2012, Confections of a Rockstar hit the scene with the help of Masi’s business-savvy partner, Lisa Lasky, and has been music to the palate ever since! The bakery offers extraordinary from-scratch handcrafted cakes and baked goods for any occasion, made with only the finest and freshest ingredients.
